Get Involved – Volunteer with Us!

The Snohomish Historical Society relies on dedicated volunteers to help preserve and share our local history. Whether you have a passion for history, enjoy working with people, or like hands-on projects, there are many ways to contribute:

  • Preservation & Maintenance

Help care for the Blackman Museum, Waltz Building, and surrounding grounds. Volunteers assist with upkeep, repairs, and day-to-day operational needs.

  • Events & Community Engagement

Support our programs, member activities, and special events. Help with planning, setup, or welcoming guests to create meaningful experiences.

  • Outreach & Promotion

Spread the word about our mission and events through social media, marketing, and community connections.

  • Historical Collections & Archives

Assist with organizing and preserving historical artifacts, documents, and photographs to ensure our rich history remains accessible.

No long-term commitment is required—volunteer as much or as little as your schedule allows! If you're interested in lending a hand, we'd love to hear from you.
