Historic House Marker Registry
Since 1983, the Snohomish Historical Society has maintained a registry of historically significant homes in the city of Snohomish. If your home was built before 1960, retains its original architectural style, and is in good condition, you may be eligible to apply for your very own custom historic marker to display.
The marker will include the house's name (such as the original owner, a prominent resident, or a long-time resident) and the date of construction. For example:
McKee House
1903

To inquire about marker pricing details, request a paper copy of the application, or to submit supporting documents (such as early photographs of the house, copies of previous titles, or a list of known owners), please email us at archives@snohomishhistoricalsociety.org.
We also consider markers for historic commercial properties, barns, and other landmarks, approved on a case-by-case basis by the Collections Committee. Please email us if interested.
